PixMD is the leading source for plastic surgery before and after photos. Our goal is to help connect community members with health care providers.
The App Platform
The site is a web application that will run on any web browser. A Google Play and iOS Apple app are coming soon.
The Team
PixMD was founded by a small group of plastic surgery marketing consultants that found the most popular pages on a plastic surgeon's or center's website was the before and after gallery. We saw that prospective patients had to find and visit multiple websites to compare before and after photos. They also had to find and figure out how to use each surgeon's photo gallery and continually check backs to see if there were any new photos. This is obviously not a good experience and one we thought we could improve, and thus went on to create PixMD.
How Does it Work
Prospective patients (community memebers) follow surgeons, procedures and locations to get the latest before and after photos (and videos) updated directly in their feed. This happens instant a new post is added. The patients can add the post the their favorite, ask questions, read the surgeon's reply to other user's questions, chat with the surgeon and book an in-office or virtual appointment.
